Giving Back with a Purpose
The Water Heaters Only, Inc. team loves to support organizations locally and across the globe. Whether a large non-profit or a local Girl Scout troop, we contribute by investing in the people and organizations that inspire, educate, care for, and overall help make the world a better place.
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
St. Jude is a non-profit pediatric treatment and research facility focused on catastrophic children’s diseases, such as leukemia and other cancers. The facility treats infants, children, teens, and young adults at no cost. Donating to St. Jude year after year is in keeping with our company’s longstanding commitment to giving back to the community.
Vinces’ Gift Bag Project
Spearheaded by Vince (a young, compassionate, seven-year-old boy), this project began a few years ago to give gift bags to local youth battling cancer at the Kaiser Pediatric Oncology Center. The project has since bloomed into an annual giving project that involves rounding up donations from friends, family, and local businesses.
Vince then uses the donated funds to shop for items he and a friend or two deliver in handmade bags. He also uses the money collected to purchase art supplies and books to donate to the on-site library.
Girls Scout Cookies
Year after year, we buy cookies from as many Girl Scout Troops as possible for our customer appreciation campaign. That way, we support the local troops and appreciate our local customers. We also donate cookies back to the troops so they can gift them to a special cause of their choice. If you know a Girl Scout troop selling cookies, feel free to tell them to contact us via our Facebook page so we can help support them.
Youth Programs Local Sports and The Arts
At Water Heater’s Only, Inc., we love to support the youth because they are the future of our society. We understand that many youth programs need help. That’s why we like to spread the love around by choosing a few different programs each year to support.
Additional recipients of our local “giving back” program include:
